not all beardies will lose their aggressive behavior .My big female's name is Little bitch for a reason. she earned it from the very day i brought her home. She is good around her offspring when i let them roam freely but she will attack both of are cat's if they are in the sun spot on the living room carpet. the cat's don't want anything to do with her and usually run sometime's with her right on thier tail trying to bite it. It is totally natural behavior for her esspecially right after brumation. she tolerate's handling but alway's head butt's your hand and tell you to go away when you first approach her unless you have something she want's to eat. Only 1 of her 34 offspring demonstrated aggressive behavior and that dissapeared after it was 2 week's old but it still seem's to me it is probobley a genetic trait of a very small # of dragon's

Ohhh trust me! She looks innocent, but looks can be decieving!! LOL! She really is a cutie. I just wish her personality reflected that. I love her anyway though!

When the people I got Bowser from rescued her from her first home, she was like that...vicious and aggressive, attacking you if you put your hand in her viv. It only took a month or so of better lighting, food and feeding along with calm daily handling, and she was like a different dragon. Now, a year later, my children can snuggle with her for hours and hand feed her. Your Abbey will come around. :)

Atilla look a little hungry. What's he eating? Is he refusing food?

He was that day before I took the picture, but don't worry he's looking alot fatter now.

He eats crickets, wax worms(on occasion),kale, bananas, romaine, green beans and bok choi.

I am having really good luck with Abbey! She is no longer opening her mouth at me or hissing. She lets me hold her and pet her. I am really pleased with how she is coming around. I think she may have had a back injury from her previous owners. She twitches alot when she head bobs and arm waves. Also, if I am petting her sometimes when she is sitting up with her back arched she kinda twitches. Doesnt look like the twitching from MBD so I am pretty sure it isnt that. Other than that she eats like a pig and is cute as hell!! LOL. Hope everyone else is as lucky as I was to have her come around so quickly!! Thanks again so much for the advice and encouragement.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
