I'm glad to hear she's softening up! She is very cute. Not sure about the twitches, but you should probably start a thread about it in the Health section.
When I first got my beardie, he was pretty nasty too. I never got bit, but I got lots of beards, open mouths, and scratches. Holly was the one who gave me advice about taming him, and it worked well. She knows it all. Thanks again, Holly! Now, a month after he came home, my beardie has calmed down and is mostly tame. I find that the best time to handle is late at night, after the enclosure has cooled off. My favorite thing in the whole world is to snuggle up with Budo (who falls asleep immediately) under fleece blankets with my iPod and a good book.
