If its under 7 or 8 inches it needs to be on paper towels, tile, or some type of non particle substrate, after theyre big enough playsand or tile. If you use sand make sure everything in the tank sits on the tanks floor, not on top of the sand- they dig alot and could dig under the rocks or decorations and have them fall on top of them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
