Studly Dudley! ♥ *Massive Picture Overload 7/30*

My dad just randomly came home with him! He is cutest thing ever, and has tons of chub! He just dived into his salad!
Hes 2 years old, 15-17 in. long (has pretty good sized nip) and 442 grams... Dyed from red sand, so I cant see his colors.

When I adopted Dudley, I didn't think he was actually 2 yrs old like they said he was because I didn't think a beardie could have that much fat stores at that age. Well, after seeing that 2 yr old pudge ball, my faith in Dud's age has been renewed LOL! I want him!!!

@Fortunate: If I tried to put antlers on Smudge, I just might be missing a finger when I'm done LOL. When I was, like, 12 I would dress him up in dog clothes all the time, and now he just won't stand for it. XD
I'm going to attempt making the top hat today though! I'll post more pictures tonight!

I made felt top hats at Christmas they looked kinda dorky but I needed to make 50 so the easiest way got me was a circle ( I cut out a lil of the center for the snowmans head) and then I small strip and a staple on each side obviously the top part wasn't solid though looked ok for foam snowman's lol

I have all the little pieces for the hat cut out! I just have to glue it together! :mrgreen: Pictures today, I promise. I ended up not having time to last night. :|

@Heartbroken: I guess 2 years is the magical "I'm really bored of this pet and don't want it" age or something? I see that happen with a lot of animals: They get rehomed or dropped off at the humane society when they are 2.

And I don't feel like doing it right now, because it is SO freakin slow and I should probably be asleep right now LOL. But here is a cute one of Dudley and Chuey (My dog) taking a car ride together! LOL, poor little Chuey is actually terrified of Dudley. You can see him kinda leaning away from him like "WTF IS THIS?! It's TOUCHING me!" in the picture!

But anyways, here are the pictures!

I recently caught my little veggie ninja on camera... He just started eating in front of me this week! I'm so proud LOL. (The pictures were taken through his screen door)

"Me? Eat veggies? Nooo...."

Here is how big and cute he is... He covers my whole hand LOL.

We spent some time tanning outside the other day, and he had some of the prettiest colors I've EVER seen on him! :shock: The pictures don't do him any justice, but he was this gorgous peachy orange color!

He get's these awesome black sidebars too. They aren't as dark in this picture, but he can make them pitch black when he wants too. It's super neat, I don't think I've seen it on another beardie before.

Buuttt anyways, on to yesterday's adventure!
So, I took Dudley to Leaping Lizards to get him some crickets. That's where I adopted him from , so he comes in to visit whenever I go. My mom took a wrong turn, and we ended up driving down the street where one of the Craigslist killers murdered someone. :shock: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,305758,00.html I didn't know that this happened so close to me, it's literally about 10 minutes away from my house! But this dude put an add on CL for a nanny job and pretended to be a woman, and when this person responded to the add and came to his house he shot her. Scary stuff, there are actually quite a few murders/found bodies around here! But the CL killer's house was one of the blue houses we drove by.

Well went we got un-lost, he went to Leaping Lizards. The lady that owns the shop still remembers Dud from over a year ago. He's so cute, he climbed onto the counter and sat on top of a jar of pens and creeped on the animals behind teh counter. We went to say hi to the other beardies up for adoption, and it's hilarious how huge and disproportionate Dudders looks compared to them!

His face is starting to shed today too LOL. If only he would have a full body shed soon... :roll:

Thanks! Dudley is a very smiley beardie... He usually has a little grin on his face, unless he is feeling like Mr. Grumpy Gills.
