Frank, sorry to hear about this I have heard a similar story somewhere else. I live near the water and we have Hawks everywhere around here. I only take my boys and girls out to bask in little boxes I made which have protective wire tops and a hide area, and I actually don't even do that much any longer. If you can see a Hawk in the sky it can see a toenail on your smallest toe. They have unbelievable eyesight. Be very careful when you have your little ones outside. Dragons in the wild are very normal with color, or they don't last long, our colorful guys are as easy to see as a big rainbow flag waving in the wind. Frank I really hope this terrible experience doesn't keep you from keeping Dragons as pets. It is something that most people never would even think about to have this happen. Again sorry for your loss.

This makes me so sad... I'm so sorry. Today my daughter wanted to take one of ours outside (and we have hawks in the area) I told her no. We'll have to try to come up with something to allow them to enjoy the outdoors but keep them safe to. Again I'm so sorry.

This is why you do not take a bearded dragon outside not in a cage. A bunny cage is good enough for this purpose.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
