what would stress marks look like on a beardie?

Typically:
short dark stripes along the underside
darkening of the tail
darkening of the beard (can mean many things)
a general darkening of the body

Although a beardie may show all of those for other reasons or even for no
apparent reason at all.

My Rico pretty much always has some stress marks showing whenever he's in his cage. He really only gets his full bright colors when he's in his bath or when he's showing off for Mellow.

Mellow will show stress marks anytime she gets too cool while running around or in the mornings.

wow! that really helps, thank you!
my beardie had to be boarded at the
breeders last week while i was in the hospital,
he definitely has them since he got back.
should i be worried?
eating and active, 3 month old.

Does he also have a black beard?

If he's still eating and pooping like he did before being boarded, then I wouldn't worry. Just give him lots of hugs and kisses and he'll be happy again.
If he's having difficulty in pooping, then he may be dehydrated, probably due to being a bit stressed out from being at the vet's.

i trained him to drink from a syringe so i think he is ok,
no black beard...
