Starved dragon

I picked up a new guy tonight. "The kids quit feeding him"

I posted pics in the rescue section.

What is my best way to get the weight on him? Do I feed him very slowly? Do I feed him as I do my other guy? Do I offer him as much food as he'll eat?

I have the baby food squash, which he ate a little from a dropper. I have super worms which he ate very well, and I have mixed greens. I gave him a couple of greens, but he didn't pay much attention to them.

How starved was he? Do you know more specifically?

How long had be been without food? I don't know. He is literally skin hanging off bones.

Yikes! You need to be very careful about feeding him too much right now. If he was very starved, the sudden burst of food could cause serious liver damage. I hope you get the attention of someone more knowledgeable than I.

Yeah he's in bad shape.... Once warmed up, he is actually very alert and active. I don't want to do any harm by feeding him too much, but I'd like him in better weight as soon as possible. I didn't know if he'd make the 1/2 ride home.
