Sonne - The Great!

I got him from Cheryl @ beardeddragons.co(RioReptiles) and I cannot be happier! Amazing color, superb overall wellness! Just a fantastic job with this guy!

He was hatched on September 1st 2012

His morph/color is Citrus Red Hypo

And HE is a boy. lol

And this is his tank, for now that is. Still not set on the decoration.

Took him out several times today.

He still wants to explore alot!

Anyways, he only poops when given a warm bath, could this mean he's impacted?

Nope, they like to poop in water. Spyro poops in his morning bath everyday.

That doesn't sound like he is too small. I saw you post about dubia, you need to feed him more feeders, as Deb(sweetiepie) said, as many as he can eat in 15 minutes, the smalls will work until you get the mediums, I gave a suggestion to a site on where to get mediums.

Oh, also... when I put him in his tank last night he basked for an hour or two... and then went into his little hide finally!(I have been putting a little blanket on him at night when he would sleep on the glass or the rocks hoping he would learn to just GO to the blanket, I am hoping it worked!) but anyways... he was in there even before I turned out the lights... and when I turned the lights on he was still in there sleeping(I saw him breathing) I was there for maybe another 30-40mins till I had to go to work... but he still was asleep.

I wanted to lift the tile roof up to check on him.. but I really didn't want to disturb him sleeping.

Is is normal for them to sleep so long?

You should probably uncover him before you leave for work so the light wakes him up. If he keeps sleeping this much and not basking then you may have look into for other reasons, but for now just try uncovering him in the morning. I have to uncover Spyro in the mornings, then he jumps on his rock to bask.

Got my 1000 medium sized Dubias today! All alive! lol awesomeness!

He gobbled close to 15 up with in 5 mins.. then just stopped and went back up to his perch under the "sun" haha Even with them running around in-front of him.

Pictures I JUST took! Fresh out of the oven! He has shed his tail, his head, both front legs I think are done, now the rear legs are starting to shed, and he is also starting on his back! He is going to be so awesome! As if he already isn't!

What a gorgeous boy! Does he like his baths? Mine is smaller than yours, but i give him a bath every other day at least.. sometimes every day if they are short baths. He's not too fond of them yet, but since you don't put water in the viv, I like to make sure my little guy is hydrated and it helps with shedding... that orange color is just awesome... Mine's a normal, but he has a little bit of orange down the middle of his back

Ur lucky he poops in the bath! I'm trying to potty train mine to. He's done it once so far. By accident I think. Lol
