Research is so vital to beardies being able to thrive. I just heard yesterday about a teacher who bought two hatchlings and kept them in a 10 gallon viv in her classroom, alone all weekend, lights on all night, no temp control, etc. They both died within a few months. It hurt to hear the story and how they would not be touched by anyone because they were "hostile". They were probably suffering!
I really wish people would do their homework before they get a reptile of any kind!!!!! I guess all we can do is spread the word and help with wonderful websites like this one.
