What was the count??
I only ask as they are a normal part f the gut flora of dragons, and when they are feeling stressed the levels go up naturally. At the minuet its not know for sure if they cause a disease.
Think of it like a thrush infection, its annoying, but it goes away when our immune system is back up and running. The meds they give to 'treat' cocciia are extremly harsh and very nasty.
Did the vet prescribe anything? I wouldn't do anything, just keep doing as you have. and if in two weeks he is not back to normal consider the treatment. Have you been giving soy yogurt and or bee pollen to protect his natural gut microbes and kick start hia appetite??
I would get rid of the crix you have been using, as sometimes these can be infected with a fungus which affects dragons, get some freah, and make sure they are nice, clean and well cared for. Any sign of one or two dying and look at them again ( i do this once a week with my worms and locust, its a good habit to get into, healthy feeders=healthy dragons)
P.S. im not a kook, im a microbiologist!
