He's small for his age =/ , but he's healthy. Could you post some pics of your lil dude?

How much is she eating everyday? I think at that age, they should still be on a mainly protein diet, but still offered lots of veggies daily.

She is eating 10-15 crickets a day and i give her strawberries blueberries bannana and collard greens daily

Is that how many crickets she'll eat in a 10-15 minute period?

After doing some more reading it looks like 10 months is about the age they would be making the transition to more veggies than protein. How much of the veggies is she eating?

Hm...can you tell me what size of crickets you're feeding? Another poster has said 1.5 years is about the age when they make the transition to mostly veggies...it's all rather confusing. Have you tried feeding another feeder (dubias, reptiworms, etc.)?

Are the large crickets too big for her (larger than the space between her eyes)? My beardie is 13" measured 2 days ago, and I'm feeding him 1/2"-3/4" dubias. I've estimated him to be around 5 months, but I'm not entirely sure since I got him from Petsmart. This morning he ate about 12 of those. In the evening he typically eats about the same number. I've read that each dubia is about 6 crickets of the same size. I leave a small bowl of mustard greens out for him while I'm at work, and he normally eats a large leaf a day.

No the crickets are a good size but i think im going back to the dubias and he eats plenty of fruits and veggies daily she seems to be a little beefier than the pic of the beardie above  :| :silent:

Lol I agree with the dubia. I was not a fan of dropping 50+ crickets and having to hunt for the 2 he didn't eat so his tail wouldn't get chewed. If she's plumper than the other beardie pic, I'd say she's a good size. I know there are growth charts out there that have length and weight along with their ages, so if you can measure the weight of your beardie, you can check to see if her weight corresponds to her size.

Well hunting for the missiing ones isnt a problem for me because i stick all the crickets in an empty tabk and then put the beardie there to feast :) but i like the dubias less smeell :puke: and less money :D and more protein

Do you guys think mines too small? :? Then again, I haven't seen Milo in a week (I went on vacation, someones watching him and I'm getting him Wednesday). But also, mines five months younger than yours so I guess it should be a bit smaller? What do you think =/ ?

They always say that beardies grow at their own rate. Your guy looks very healthy and veeeeery pretty! If he's eating well with good husbandry, you'll have a beast in no time.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
