i wanted slate tile for my 40 breeder where can i buy some ?

Most any home improvement store will have them.

do they cut it for you the size you needs

Sometimes. If its just a few tiles that you need cut they most likely will if they are not busy. If you are wanting them to cut like 6+ tiles i can't imagine them saying yes.

Call around and make sure. Where I live, only 1 of the 3 stores I went to cut tile and they cost 5 dollars per cut(the lovely gentleman I talked to lowered it to 2). Don't make the same mistake I did and go to 2 different places to find out neither cut tile.

I agree phone around and see who will cut them for you. I got lucky because I have a friend with a wet saw and cut them for me.
