Silkworms

I want to bread silkworms for my 1 month old beardie I have in the past just for fun and their easy to care for I was just wondering if the mulberry leaf that you feed silkworms dangerous to bearded dragons

I haven't heard of it being so, but i wouldn't feed it to your dragon anyways.

Hi...I was wondering...Would you be willing to share some info on how to start a breeding colony of silk worms? I am currently breeding mealies, is it anything like that by chance? If you would be able to share a site with info or even how you do it that would be much appreciated!!! ty in advance! xo

I don't have any reall way I rise silkworms I just put them in a shoe box and keep them fed I've never had any issues with keeping them but I also leave next to a mulberry tree so I'm pretty lucky and ill look into some sites that give good info

Thanx a ton!!! My Miss Dusti goes right through EVERYTHING like there is NO tomorrow...hahahah she's a piggy!!! lmao she can eat about 100 meanlies in one sitting and that it where i cut her off at mind you...omg she would eat every last one if I let her...lol...n thanx again!!!

Thank you TONS the info from the links were a HUGE help!!! Sadly due to where I am located keeping the temp that is needed might be a bit difficult for me...But I think it might still be worth a try!! Thanx again..

I know you posted a while ago but I really hope you did more research since then and are NOT feeding mealworms to your dragon. They are not good feeders at all. If you still are, look around this site for awhile. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
