silkworms

SO,
I read somewhere that I could put silkworms in the fridge for a few days to slow down eating and preserve them at the same size.

Is this true?

I just got a shipment of silkworms today , and am looking over the care sheet.

It says do not the the temp fall below 55 degrees.

Worms will begin to spin coccoons at about 28-30 days, or when are 2 1/2-3 inches or longer

Worms must remain dry

I know that works with hornworms, but I'm not sure about silkworms

No, you can't, they will die. Although eggs can be stored for quite a while in the refrigerator.
