what kind of shelf life do silkworms have...where do they need to be stored, and do they need to be fed ?
if I get 100 worms for a weeks feeding will this even matter since they will b gone in a week?

silkworms usually take about month after they hatch to coccoon, but this depends on how much food they are fed. they can live up to a week without food, but should be fed mulberry leaves or silkworm chow at least once daily. 74-77 degrees if you want them to live longer, and 78-85 degrees if you want them to grow quickly. putting them in the refrigerator will kill them.

thanks for the info...gonna try them for the first time and Ive had dragons for 7 yrs now, so looking foward to a healthy and less smelly change lol.
