shedding

hi i have a baby beardy and has recently been shedding but alot hasint shed from him yet his entire under side isnt comming off and just little peices i had to remove the shed from his tail cause it was cutting his circulation off, but what do i do about his belly cause i cant keep him still when i peel him. please help.

not sure as im still a new bd owner myself, but try giving it a warm (not hot) bath, and massaging the skin off

I'd agree with giving him a nice warm bath every day to soothe his skin and keep him hydrated. Don't try to peel off the skin too much or you may damage the new scales underneath. Only remove the skin that will fall off, but don't peel off unshed pieces. Keep us updated on him!

Hi,
Sometimes shedding does take a while. Bathing is the best way to loosen the skin. Do it every day if you have to but do try to avoid pulling it off no matter how tempting. My boy is 18 months old and rather large he had his last shed (3 months ago) he still has dead skin coming from in his ears and its so frustrating.
Massage your BD with warm water it will soon come away.

I strongly agree with Jay. Duke's mouth area has been shedding for a month now, still some pieces hanging off.

is it normal for them to not eat as much during this time?
cause thats what the pet store tells me but i dont trust them, they didnt treat him for his foot when he was in there care, they claim he was atackd but i was told a object was dropd on his foot so ya his little poor toes falld off.
