Seems to be settling in well to his new home wish he'd eat his Greens rather than poop in them though!

Using Exo Terra Reptile UVB 150 and an EXO Terra Basking Spot Lamp, temps all fine. UVB is across the basking area with the Arcadia reflector clamp. I was tempted to see if sprinkling Bee Pollen would also help. I had bought small locusts but he seems to much prefer Crickets so will mix them both up and look into getting some BSFL. He's Pooping and Eating well considering he's only been out of his Clutch since Friday morning. Think I'm a little more on edge as my 8 year old has fallen head over heels for him so I'm probably worrying about everything more than I normally would. Temps across his Viv are good and he is alert, I would imagine a shed in a few days too!

Please change out your UVB bulb to a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or a Arcadia 12% bulb - they are better quality bulbs - your baby has some good stress marks going - please keep him in his tank and start hand feeding the BSFL - he needs to adjust to his tank and surroundings and is probably scared - hes in a big world so I would go slow and not out of tank - is the UVB in the tank or top of screen ? your screen will determine placement and distance

UVB Tube is across the top of the Viv and 11.5" from his basking area. I'll look at those tubes suggested. The EXO Terra one pictured came with reccomendations here in The UK for it's high UVB output. However if that's no good I'll order one of the alternatives. I was expecting some stress in him as he has moved from being in a Viv with his clutch to being in a much bigger one by himself. He has only been using his hides during the nights and seems happy

I had delivery of his 12% Arcadia yesterday. Rocky is still eating and pooping a couple of times a day and is alert. It looks as if his stress marks are subsiding a little, he is starting to shed on his legs and looks like his head will be next. Had him a week now so hoping he starts to settle in more now that there will be no adjustments to his Viv as temps now all ok.

He is a sweetie! It takes them a little while to relax and become comfortable but he'll get there 🙂.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
