Sarth, Daeds, & Starling **5/28 First Camping Trip Pics!**

I figured I would post some pics of Sarth...even though he hasn't been eating very well the past month he still finds every opportunity to be cute! I think I might just keep adding pics to this thread along with my blog, we will see!

I thought this was adorable...he was kind of lounging against the glass, looking at me like "what?!"

Him still being really mad from the vet's visit the night before. He looked so hilarious, all puffed up with the black beard. I started petting him and he deflated while managing to look confused.

Both videos were so good, loved the reaction of Deadalus seeing Sartharion, so funny, back & forth, black bearding & bobbing. And Sarth was so funny attacking that bunny! Boy he sure can attack fast!

Yes you would never suspect Sartharion is so fast, then he leaps from your lap and shoots across the floor to headbob under Daed's tank, lol. Daed has been doing some weird bobs lately too, she does them in slow motion, really strange looking

LOL, Sarth is hilarious! I would never have guessed he could be so vicious... He was such a sweetie when I had him! :lol: Daed is so funny too! They must be driving you crazy.

Dud has decided to be a total grump about the high humidity and weird weather. :roll: I'm glad your two are enjoying it so much!

I know right? Fortunately he hasn't misdirected that aggression towards me, as soon as I pick him up he calms down.

And yes they are driving me nuts! It's mostly Daedalus though with her incessant smearing face against glass to get out, lol.

Nope Daedalus is female. I posted the video in Behavior too and someone thought maybe Sartharion thinks the rabbit is competition and that's why he's attacking it. He definitely does the sideways defensive puff at it every time he walks by it, so maybe that's his issue. Yesterday he actually jumped off my lap, and enroute to Daedalus's tank he stopped, saw the rabbit, pounced on it, and was literally trying to drag it away as he was killing it. He must be full of raging hormones, lol.

Oh that's just lovely. The last thing I need is beardie babies, cute as they are! I actually got a video of her doing it a couple days ago. These lizards are going to drive me up the wall. At least I only have 2 :lol: Except I'm going to be baby sitting Dudley in a couple weeks. Should be interesting!

When Dudley comes over Sarth will have some real competition, considering that Dudley was used as a breeder before I had him. I have a feeling they won't be cuddle buddies this time!

Ooh true true, not to mention Duds probably as large as Daedalus so he would smoosh Sarth, lol! I have a feeling they'll all be getting a good deal of exercise running between each other's tanks to bob :roll: Sarth will probably add in a melodramatic foot stomp to go with it.

Thanks! I know she has the hugest beard, and lately when I see her it's really dark, turning to black as soon as she senses Sarth :lol:

Ok, more pics and another video! I do have more pics on my camera, these are just what I was able to upload from my phone at work.
Daedalus was a terror yesterday. From 9am to about 6pm all she wanted to do was be out and run around. I was trying to study and would hear her skitter into the kitchen (seems like that is her favorite room), then some crashing as she got into something, so I'd have to get up and rescue her (twice from behind the stove, again after she had wedged herself between the door and the wall :roll: ). When it seemed like she was taking a break I'd put her back in her tank and she'd bask for about 10 minutes, then immediately start face smearing and scrabbling on the glass to get out.

Sartharion was content to stay in the office and just jump from his tank and hang out on our keyboards. Glad he's not as psychotic as Daed :lol: Although! On Saturday while I was petting him he suddenly decided to flip out and jump away from my hand and do a sideways puff at me. Not sure what was up with that as he was in his tank and petting him in there is pretty standard. I picked him up and he calmed right down. Nutty lizard.

I feel sorry for Daed today, she's gotta stay in her tank til we get home from work! I can see her now, destroying her furniture as she struggles to escape >.< Hopefully the chilly weather will subdue her though!

Some of you might have seen this pic from my post in the General forum. This was yesterday when she was running around non-stop, so of course when I can't hear her anymore I have to go see what she got into. This is what I found one of the times!

Speaking of which, I got her old tank cleaned out for him, there was like 3 inches of sand in it, ugh. But now it'll have a nice fresh roll of rep-tile in it! You'll be dropping him off this Sunday right? Man, time has really flown! You'll have to PM me some details. I just ran out of horns yesterday so I'll be ordering more today or tomorrow. That's still all Sarth will eat besides his greens, so he's in for a treat!

Hey all,

Haven't updated in awhile, been pretty busy studying unfortunately But I did get to take care of Duds for a week and a half while Jess was off on vacation! I had to tape some paper to the side of Daed's cage cause they were sharing a room, and as soon as she saw him she started doing some major slow bobs He was fun to have around, such a cutie! Here are some pics!

Awww, looks like he had a great time! I absolutely love the second pic of them all cuddling, where Dud is using Sarth's head as a pillow! Sarth looks so fed up with him. :lol:
I didn't realize that Daeds is so much bigger than Dudley! :shock: Geesh. Their little goodbye kisses were so adorable... I think they're soul mates. He's being so sulky today, I think he misses her!
