Holly... my heart is sinking right now. I am so sorry about sweet Ruben. Him and all his antics will be missed by everyone here.

I honestly believe Ruben came to you for a reason. You had a hole in your heart that needed mending from the loss of Dex and he so desparately needed someone to love him. Ruben had a wonderful life with you.... don't you ever forget that!

I know that so many parts of your world have been turned upside down the past year. You hang in there and know that we all love you here.

As Robin said... God does not give us any more than we can handle. This is something my mother has always told me. I used to think if this were true, then God must not know me very well. That couldn't be any further from the truth.

Remember all the good times you shared with Ruben - like your little outings to the pub! And give Miso and Billy extra cuddles - it helps!

and for now all you need to do is open your heart and close your eyes and I promise you Ruben will be there.

Vicky is right - its been 6 months since Abu passed away and she is still with us and im sure its the same for you with both Ruben and Dexter!

Oh,dear, dear Holly! My heart breaks for you. I am so sorry for both your losses. I sit here across the pond and cry for you and don't know what to say. Dawn prob put it best. You are stronge enough to get through this, tho you don't feel like it now. We are praying for you. Think of Ruben happily playing at the Rainbow Bridge and your pain will ease, just a bit. He and Dex run and play with Bogie and the others we have all lost. My prayers go up for you dear and I'm here for you.
