Miss T, because they can, cause they're dragons. We're having the same issue with our males. Lonzo, who's 6 yrs old, lost 100g since last summer, because he's full of spring fever and just wants to run around his territory,
black bearding and bobbing and not eating much. He's been like this since he stopped sleeping, just got up late and went to bed early. I normally get some butternut squash in him and he likes a raspberry a day.
Rubio was 760g but he's under 720g and he's 21" long. I'm just glad that the excitement of spring fever passes eventually, then it's not that big a deal if the boys see the girls. Once in awhile we like to see Rubio have a reaction to a girl, 'cause he doesn't seen to know what to do with them. He approached Sweetie once, I'd forgotten Sweetie was out, and immediately turned away and ran to the other side of the living room. So I was able to get Sweetie back in her tank, in case Rubio changed his mind and decided he did know what to do!
They're all so different. It's great to see Jojo so healthy and happy, the pics are great, I just love her face
Deb and Sweetie, she's not interested in the males yet, guess she's percolating a new batch of eggs, it'll be a couple of weeks before she'll be driving everyone crazy. We're keeping our eye on Issy, who gained over 30 gr in 3 wks & not eating that much. She's gotten huge around her belly, it's amazing, she's 455g now. Her poops are much better than last year.
Give JoJo a big HUG from all of us to you,
Deb, Sweetie, Issy, the beardie sisterhood; Lonzo, Rubio, Leo; Leo & Rubio wave at each other, Rubio is twice Leo's size and still arm waves him with no dark beard. So I like Rubio to be out and having Leo's attention. It's fun to watch all their reactions to each other.
