It looks like an Abscess he needs to see a vet so it dose not get infected and fester that is what Comet had she had a MASSIVE one on her beard it needed surgically removed. For now though I would keep it very clean and if you have some put a little betadine on it.
Howling Rex is at the vets. He's going under partical anastesia to lance and drain the nob. If its more than a abscess we will egt a biopsy done. The vet loved him. He was his usual quiet watchful good boy self and hes a full pound in weight. (German giant cross) The vet told me they go through a lot of what we do....the pet store sickies that are tiny and there isn't much they can do. So while they were not happy to see him they were happy to see what he was... That's very much thanks to the members here who gave me good advice right at the start with Tiantha and his Howling Gale breeder mommy who is still with us every step fo the way.
That's good that it looks like nothing major; he will be out of it for a few days with the anastesia don't panic though he will be ok. Make sure they give you a good antibiotic cream to help it heal he will be hurting to so if you can email tracie and get some of her natural pain meds it worked GREAT on Comet and it has no bad side effects keep me up to date
He's out. He was a trooper and he wanted mom snuggles when he got home. He's on meds and the Doc kept the tissue removed just in case something shows up in recovery. He was also saying that he went in and out of the anastesia local and other really well. He was very happy with him and his behavior. He also said the tissue around it was nice pink and healthy.
And...I just gave him his first meds. Open mouth insert meds was funny and quick. You'd have think we were both pros at it.
