I use to have the reptile carpet, 2 of them. I switched to the non adhesive shelf liner. So much easier to keep clean & cheap too. Bugs can’t get under it. Pick up a roll at Bed Bath & Beyond or Walmart. I just got a new roll to replace his old one, which is washable.

No reason to get rid of it as it works well as a substrate. As mentioned they get dirty in a hurry though and require frequent cleaning (just toss them in the washer). They get tattered quickly due to this though and if you find it to be a hassle, switching to something like tile or shelf liner might be a good move at that point.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
