R.I.P. JUDAS :( :( R.I.P MISTY :( :(

This is my new girl, she is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch and was born on 7/17. Her proud parents are Ms. Tiggs & PVT Blaze. As we know, all Barb's beardies are spoiled.
She had a long trip from CA yesterday, all the way to NY. She arrived 12:30 today. She is gorgeous, has orange colored eyes and is a real sweetie.

I had a problem with Photobucket, promise to put up more pics later. She had a bath, ate a few greens & a little squash as well as 2 crickets. She has been cuddled quite a bit already. And, as Barbara knows, she loves to run up your hand & arm when you try to put her back in.
Her stress marks are gone right now, she laid on my lap and snuggled into my hand. :shock:

BTW...Diane you made Frank's day by giving him recognition as well afterall without him I couldn't have all these beardies. I just thought I'd tell you he ran in from work and went straight to the computer...of course I knew what he'd be looking for so this thread was already waiting and open for him. We are both tickled pink that you and your family are pleased. :mrgreen:

Well Frank has been a BIG part of this whole ordeal too, of course he deserves recognition. That's so sweet that he went right to the computer to check on her.

She just let me know that she wanted a little salad, she wasn't too fond of the collards but she sure enjoyed the mustards, turnips and kale. Now I'm holding her on my shoulder. We found out that she doesn't like quiet, she likes the radio, whistling and the TV.

Hey, we thought of a new name, what does everyone think of "Misty"? We were talking about Ms. Tiggs and came up with that.

Diane there is never a quiet moment in my house and even when it's just me and the animals, I have 2 TV's on for them an I don't really watch TV. :lol:
They all seem to like music you just have to figure out what her taste is. :wink:

It sure is Vicky, no worries here, she's adjusted very well after her long journey and she's only been here 9 hrs. Boy, it's hard to type with one hand. Now I have to figue out how to get her to bed without waking her.

My friends always tease me because I make these connections that seem incredibly random to other people, but make perfect sense in my mind. That sounds exactly like something I would come up with. I'm only saying I feel bad for you because if you are anything like me, you will be so busy with those incredibly random connections that you will do things like back out of a parking spot with your car in drive, or put heat lamps on the floor while still on, or turn the car off while it's still in drive, etc... No offense meant, honest.

So, today she ate 17 crickets, 3 small dubias and quite a few bites of salad. Does that sound pretty good Barbara?

Thanks Christine. Well, the baby's to bed, I laid her down on a small chenille blanket and wrapped her up. She laid on the couch while I opened her tank up, I knew she was asleep before I went upstairs but I was still concerned that she had bolted off of it. She still was asleep, I laid her down gently in her tank and slid the top closed and she never flinched. 8) She was so light in the blanket, hard to tell she was even in there, I'm used to carrying 5 & 7 yr old beardies.

What does everyone think of the pictures? Yes Katrina, she does look a lot like Fiona.
