R.I.P. JUDAS :( :( R.I.P MISTY :( :(

This is my new girl, she is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch and was born on 7/17. Her proud parents are Ms. Tiggs & PVT Blaze. As we know, all Barb's beardies are spoiled.
She had a long trip from CA yesterday, all the way to NY. She arrived 12:30 today. She is gorgeous, has orange colored eyes and is a real sweetie.

I had a problem with Photobucket, promise to put up more pics later. She had a bath, ate a few greens & a little squash as well as 2 crickets. She has been cuddled quite a bit already. And, as Barbara knows, she loves to run up your hand & arm when you try to put her back in.
Her stress marks are gone right now, she laid on my lap and snuggled into my hand. :shock:

Yes, they sure did, Diane. I was just realizing that you lost as many beardies as I did but in 13 months whereas I lost that many in a 2 year period. I know how much that hurts as I still worry some about loosing Rosie and Goldie. Rosie keeps laying 1 and 2 eggs once a week or so. I don't think she's done because she still eats like 8 to 10 supers every day then quits eating much and lays an egg or two. Goldie is doing better but she's not back to normal. Her appetite is getting better but she hasn't been able to use her tongue to grab at greens or supers. Bill showed her a white superworm a few days ago and he said she looked at him to say "I can't, feed it to me". She ate it when he put it into her mouth. She's starting to move her chin more but still not much. I would like to get her to a vet but, because of our budget, we can't right now.

I'm sorry they are both concerning you Lori. Please don't wait too long though before you get them checked out. I'm thinking now that Misty might have been having an egg issue and her body reabsorbed them for some reason and that was why she was so big and looked like she was retaining fluid and it ended up affecting her liver. I wish now that I had taken her to be checked out but she was acting fine until that one day 3 wks ago.

Have you looked in Goldies mouth to see if there is something in there or if her teeth are worn down perhaps?

We will be looking forward to seeing them all again someday. We have wonderful, happy memories of all of them for now and LOTS of pictures.

Yes Brandi, Judas died on Tuesday. It was like he waited for us to get another beardie in this house before he passed over. Guess he didn't want us to have a beardieless household. We miss him so much and Josh is having a real hard time. He is turning one of his lights on during the day and the CHE at night. We are going to get one of Digi and Pookie's babies though when they hatch. Josh wants a male and it will go in his room. Judas & Pookie actually look a lot a like and since Digi is Misty's sister, we will have one of her nephews so that will be very special.
