Questions about starting a Dubia Roach colony

Will 25 female and 5 male roaches be enough to start a colony? And, if so, how long will it take before the colony is ready?

it is a good start. if left alone (not feeding from them) you should have a thriving colony within 4-6 months. culling out excessive males and keeping mostly females will maximize production. allow a minimal amount of males to mature will keep healthy studs available for the girls. 6 months from the start you could easily have 200 females with more ready to mature monthly.
