You never realize how much they grow until you look back at the pictures! I had a little forced photo shoot for my two favorite boys and it turned out I had taken similar photos a few months ago. I thought it was really neat to see how much my first beardie, Felix, has grown and I wanted to share them with all of you!

These were taken exactly three months apart. Feb 3 (Felix 5 months) and May 3 (Felix 8 months)

The head shots made my family nervous since Buck is trained to balance things on his head then throw them up and catch them on command... :silent: being a 100lb Golden Retriever it wouldn't take much but before anyone gets angry I trust my dog completely while he's under one of my commands and they are never together unless I am right beside them or I have my dog under a strict "leave it" like you can see in two pictures up (leave it means no moving, eyes on me at all times and absolutely no eye contact with the subject!)

Anyone else have a picture of their dragon and pooch? If so I'd love to see them so please share!

So cute!!

Thanks  they're definatly fun to watch together. Anyone else have a dog and beardie? I know I've seen a couple pictures out there!

Aw, they are so cute. :D I too love golden retrievers. We have a 3 year old golden who could careless about our beardie. At least at the moment. I can hold my beardie and I have to also pet my golden at the same time. Jealous pup! lol I've got to try to take a pic of our mini schnauzer who is in love with our beardie. She stalks him daily by just watching him for hours in his tank. When I have him out she still looks for him in his tank even if I show her him in my hand. lol Silly dog!

Those are great pics! They grow like little weeds!

And that's great that your doggie is so well-behaved around Felix... I have a (generallly) very well-behaved Pomeranian that doesn't seem to understand that Stanley is NOT a toy!

I feel so bad, but I have to gate my dog in the kitchen while Stanley is out. :(

I've tried to gently introduce them, but i chicken out right away because my dog starts to squeal and whimper for Stanley - the same kind of squeal/whimper that he does when he wants a toy. TO CHEW ON. NO WAY, NUH-UH, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

My dog is smart and exceptionally gentle, and if I could just find a way to get him to understand that Stanley isn't a toy but a living thing, he'd totally be okay with him. I need the Dog Whisperer.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
