Thanks Tracie.
I'll try not to be too hard on myself... but Im sure I'll fail!
The bowl is just a small browl "mealworm" bowl (with high curved sides to stop escapees) that I picked up on a whim because it was only £2 and was by the cash register.
I still cant fathom how she will hunt food in this bowl but ignored the clear and silver bowls. All the bowls were the same size too.
I'll definatley order some liquid calcium again. The last two places online I ordered from took a week then sent me an "oh we're out of stock" email
Im going to email ahead next time I think.
Miso's diet is a large salad of rocket, endive + squash, with something else added daily like beans/dandelion etc, 20ish dusted roaches in the morning then she is left a bowl of a mix of pheonix worms + meal worms which she picks at during the day, but will end up eating around 10-15 worms. The mealworms are in there because they are large and wiggley. She doesnt tend to notice the medium pheonix's unless I pop in about 3 mealies too.
She also gets a dose of apple babyfood every 3 days to make sure all the new protein isnt getting her backed up.
She's been having large daily BMs with no signs of undigested shells (yey!)
I tried about every type of dry food I could find when Miso was just on salad but no chance.
(I bought so many that I had to hide them from my partner so he wouldnt get cross. I have a trunk under my bed where there are 4 different kinds  )
Not any of the brands or flavours worked, dipped in water or juice or a mix. In desperation I used to try to sneak 2-4 pellets into her by grinding it up into dust and putting it on her salad.
Both Rube and Miso will flat out refuse to touch their salad if I put any whole pellets on. So now the pellets are part of the feeders diets!
Greatful as always
Holly
