I'm sneaking in a few minutes to post a funny but adoring story about MoMo.
Last night, shortly after Pookie and Digi's lights went out, MoMo started madly pacing her house, back & forth on the floor and up & down on her monkey. She even went as far as standing on her hind legs and plastering her belly on the glass. Thinking she needed to poop (she didn't go potty all day because she was too busy snuggling with the panda bear and looking out the window), I picked her up/out and put her on the living room floor. Well, she made a beeline down the hall, abruptly stopped just before turning the corner, sat there for a few seconds, and turned her head back to look at me. If I paid attention to her, she'd run back down the hall and into the living room, but stopping short of coming in all the way, then quickly turn around and do it all over again. She did this 3 or 4 times before I finally gave in and went to get her. I plopped her on the couch, thinking that she'd bury herself under one of the pillows and go night night, but NO! She decided to pace the couch back & forth, multiple times, until she finally decided to scare the living daylights out of Zim by jumping on his back while he was standing in front of her. I thought he was going to have a heart attack! After trying the kamakazie leap again, I finally let her pace the hallway again. Well, she finally settled on the top of the stairs (I think she got tired of pacing, with those fast little legs of hers) and I walked over to turn on the light so she wouldn't be stepped on. Still not sure why I asked her this, but as I stood in front of the bedroom door, I said "MoMo, do you want me to tuck you in my bed for night night?", to which I received a fast over the shoulder look. I asked again, "Do you want me to tuck you in the bed for night night?" and before I could take my next breath, she ran into the bedroom and stood 2 feet away from the bed, looking up at it then at me. I picked her up and plopped her down right next to my pillow, then walked back into the living room. A few minutes later, I went back in to check on her, to make sure she didn't run off and hid somewhere, and I saw her all snuggled in tight under my pillow
She slept there, not moving a muscle, until I finally went to bed and moved her over.
I have no idea how she knew last night was her turn to sleep in the bed with me :dontknow:
