Pookie's Minions - Pookie's Gone ☹

I so wish at least one of my babies could talk, because I'm dying to know what happened between Pookie and MoMo today.

When I got up and checked on everyone this morning, I saw that Pookie's ladder was tilted, as if he'd used it to climb out. Being it was only 8:30am, there was no way that he'd be up already, especially since his blankie was still neatly tucked the way I had left him last night. I turned to check on MoMo and she was already up and on alert (which was very out of sorts for her). Seeing MoMo that way, I went back to Pookie's house to see if maybe I simply missed seeing him sitting on the couch or tree branch or the stuffies -- NOPE. I picked up his blankie in hopes that maybe he curled up during the night and that's why I didn't see his tail poking out -- NOPE. "Oh no! What happened to my baby?!? Where did he disappeared to so early?!?" At this point, a smidge of panic had set in and I started to mentally plan my search, but first I had to let in some light so I walked over to the window to open up the shades. :shock: "WHOA! What are you doing on the couch?!?" Somehow, Pookie decided to 1) quietly sneak out of his burrito, 2) camouflage himself on the couch and tan blanket, and 3) have a stare down with MoMo. Strangely enough, he didn't have a black beard, wasn't flared, and wasn't head bobbing -- just sat there staring, almost catotonic like. For as calm as Pookie was, MoMo was just the opposite. She kept head bobbing and giving him death glares, but all of that never got a rise out of him.
When I got home from work, Pookie was hiding under the table that his house sits on. As soon as I plucked him out and plopped him on the couch, MoMo immediately went bug-eyed, flared out her little beard, and took a flying leap off of her monkey. She went totally nuts, full black beard, head bobs like she was a bobble head doll, foot stomps, and glass dancing like it was going out of style. If she was able to, she would've flew up/out of her tank and went after Pookie! Just like he'd done in the morning, Pookie never reacted negatively. Instead, he glass danced (while sitting on my hands) and even flinched when MoMo charged at the glass. It was as if I walked into The Twilight Zone and the roles had been reversed!

Oh god, the ceiling aliens had taken over my babies' bodies! :help:

:lol: Gina, thanks! I sincerely mean that. You always have the most wonderful stories. I don't have nearly that many stories with my two, even tho they are serious nutcases sometimes.

I just love your stories, Pookie is one cool dude, even though he was the one blackbearding Momo. They are just so funny. Momo is so fiesty & I think she's going to have more sheds in the near future the way she's eating. Good for her! I still can't get over what frightened Digi so much, but thank goodness you were there to help her! It's always amazed me how emotional beardies are. I love watching our bunch react to each other. I just can't see them being like Digi & Pookie, there would be great calamity at our end! I so enjoyed the pics & videos that you posted, I'm just so glad that you were able to foster Momo to help Jacqui It's so appreciated that you share your stories & great pics & videos, thanks

I never did come back to post, huh? Shame on me.
I'll tell yesterday's stories later. This morning's one is funnier.

I had all three out and about in the living room, in separate quadrants of course, for some much needed exercise. Pookie had been in front of the window, MoMo contemplating whether she'd be brave enough to explore the stairs, and Digi making rounds of the kitchen (not sure why). Suddenly, Pookie flew down the couch and across the floor to "get" Digi, but it was a futile attempt because I had anticipated that move and prepared my arms for a road block. After a few minutes of Digi's pushups in lieu of head bobs and Pookie's charges, Digi lost interest and walked back into the kitchen. At that moment, MoMo decided to come back into the living room to see what all the commotion was about. As soon as she strutted in, Digi flew in with the blackest beard and ferociously head bobbed at MoMo. This sudden change in behavior stunned MoMo so much that she froze, but after the second set of head bobs, she ran and hid under my legs. Seeing MoMo wasn't up to no good, Digi took off for the hallway with Pookie quickly following (don't worry, neither got closer than a foot of each other). Still not being allowed any hanky panky, Digi took off for the bedroom, and MoMo and I shortly followed to look for her. Instead of bringing both girls back into the living room right away, I plopped them on my bed for a little quiet time and a break for my beat up arms. A few minutes later, I heard alot of scuffling sounds coming from the living room. Knowing there's noone for Pookie to go after, I didn't bother to investigate rightaway. When I did make it back out to the living room, I couldn't find Pookie anywhere. He didn't climb back up on the couch, he wasn't in front of Digi's house, he wasn't behind the couch, he wasn't in the kitchen, he wasn't under the coffee table, he wasn't in the bathroom, and most importantly his ladder hadn't moved an inch -- Pookie had poofed into thin air! For some strange reason I decided to glance into his house, and low and behold, he was inside! Not only did he go home, but he was all snuggled up to Mr. Bear and sulking quite pitifully. Seeing how pathetic he looked, I couldn't help myself but laugh, which made him snuggle even tighter with Mr. Bear.

What a big baby that Pookie is. What's a slave to do? :roll:
