I wasn't able to get any pics of my whacky couch dweller last night. He was so wedged in that even my tugging on his tail and foot didn't phase him :roll:

How long does Buddy stay there? That would make me nervous because I'd constantly be wondering if he's ok. Does he come out on his own when he's hungry or has to poop? What a boy!

Barbara - Do you think she's gaining enough weight? I mean, is her growth on track? She had decided that she'll only eat the wormies on her own, but the salad would be hand fed by mommy.

She's gaining fine. :wink: :mrgreen: She's backwards from most of mine (they want bugs handfed :roll: ) but sounds about normal. :lol:

Gina those pics of Digi are sooooo sweet! Gosh she is a doll! Poor Pookie looks like my girls! Belle finally got her shed off yesterday but Fiona is going through it now...She's pretty miserable. How much UVB does Buddy need? And how does he get UVB??

Christine - Buddy would stay in the couch forever if I'd let him. That's how he pretty much spent last winter :roll: I guess he wouldn't need to eat/poop if he's sleeping :dontknow:
Barbara - Whew! After reading all of her other siblings' huge weight gains, I started to second guess myself on whether I was feeding her enough. If it wasn't for the scale, I'd never know if she gained weight because she still feels so light in my hands (compared to Pookie).
Katrina - Buddy has a clamp light with an MVB attached to his dishpan, and now that the weather had been nice, I'd also been taking him outside for at least 15-20 minutes of natural sunlight at least once a week (and of course lose 3 lbs from sweating and gain 1 lb in bug bites).


Got a couple of funny Digi tales to tell: For the past few days, whenever I'd bring Digi up to Pookie to say hello, instead of her happy-go-lucky girlish demeanor, she suddenly decided to headbob him -- and not gentle baby bobs either. Her bobs were so fast that I feared she'd give herself whiplash :roll: As fast as the bobs started, they'd stop within seconds and she wouldn't do it again. The first time she bobbed at Pookie, I had to laugh over how shocked he was over what she'd done.
Does anyone have any guesses as to what her headbobs meant???

Earlier tonight, Digi was sprawled out across the keyboard of my laptop while I was playing FB games. All was good until I started using the keyboard and made those god awful "tap tap tap" sounds -- talk about getting the evil stink eye! Because I'm such a good slave/mommy, I had to type with only one finger to reduce the noise. However, that obviously wasn't good enough because I kept getting the evil stink eye, so I had to lower myself and put the computer on mute. As soon as I did that, she closed her eyes and promptly went back to sleep. What a diva.

Gina when the female bobs hard like a male bob I think it is her way of saying, "Don't mess with me sucker! I will mess you up!" I think it's a warning that she's not in the mood for male company...none whatsoever so stay away from me. :lol:
After reading the second story about your little Diva.... :lol:
I'm gonna say she thinks she can play the alpha role when she wants because she's Queen Bee and call the shots. :lol:

I'm definitely starting to see a more grown up behavior in Digi. She no longer goes into an armwave frenzy as soon as she sees Pookie; instead, she'd just sit there and stare, and stare, until he reacts then she'd wave back. At the same time, Pookie doesn't freak out as much as he used to, nor as long.

Well Gina she is almost a year.
I'm sure that Digi and Pookie are getting much more use to the presents of one another.

Digi what silly girl she is... :lol: She looks like she's gotten more colorful...did she? Aww! Maybe it's just happy colors cuz she's so spoiled. :wink: Can't believe she's almost a year.

You know, I had thought that Digi got more colors too, but wasn't sure because 1) I see her everyday and 2) my eyesight isn't what it used to be and tend to see things that aren't there.
Just before making this post, I woke up my little sleeping princess and saw that her head was this vibrant red with orange highlights. If I didn't know any better, I'd say somebody painted her head while I was asleep.

Barb, I was quite surprised that I didn't have any new pics of my stud muffin. Not sure why I didn't take any of him :dontknow:, but I'll try to make up for it in the next few days.

Gina her head and the strip down her back has always been rather bright yellow though it too seem brighter. I do see alot of orangeish color along her sides and down the sides of the yellow stripe that I'd not seen before. She does have more color and the creamy fat white belly makes it stand out. :lol:
