Give me a few hours to think of a good comback. In the meantime, here's a Digi tale:
Digi had been quietly sitting in her house all day, being a good girl. About 20 minutes ago, I gave her a bath to go poopy, which she finally did after giving up on trying to run away, then wrapped her up to dry off. As soon as I was in close proximity to the couch, she climbed out of the burrito, up my shoulder, around my neck, and dangled on my back. Not sure if she was upside down or right side up, I feared that she'd go boom so I sat down on the couch and leaned back a tad to let her climb on. Forgetting that I had a small bowl with three horns sitting right next to me, I wondered why she suddenly flew off of my back. Luckily I stopped her in time, but I think I upsetted her by not allowing her to eat those scrumptious looking worms because within minutes of moving her to the window, she flew off and down to the floor, scampered around the coffee table and headed to the other side of the living room. Suddenly, she stopped, made a right, and started to climb something (from the scratching sounds I heard). Worried that she was climbing to go behind the couch, I got up to check on her. To my amazement, she was glass dancing to get back into her house! She wanted to go home! She knew where her house was!
I swear she gets cuter every time I see her. She looks so sweet sleeping on her rock.
BTW... I love that rock! Is it real or man made?
That story of Digi scratching at her viv does not surprise me at all. Barb raises some very smart beardies. Heck, It took Bligg a few months to teach me how to really spoil a beardie. He is now reaping the benefits.. only handfeeding for that boy! It's either that or a hunger strike again. I have learned to pick my battles with that one.
Poor Pookster That shed does look miserable. Bligg just went through a full body shed. He had the hat and cap thing going on as well, LOL.
Was the blackbeard from him shedding, Gina.. or did he see little Miss D running around?
Barbara - Do you think she's gaining enough weight? I mean, is her growth on track? She had decided that she'll only eat the wormies on her own, but the salad would be hand fed by mommy.
Dawn - Thanks for giving my little Digi such nice compliments I think she's getting cuter and cuter by the day as well. As for whether the rock cave is real or not, I would think so. It's very heavy and solid. I got it at PetSmart, one smaller and one much bigger (to replace the igloo so her majesty could comfortably lay on it). And yes, the blackbeard from Pookie was because of his shed (and partly because I was taking pics of him being so miserable). He'd been scratching at practically any and every surface, hard or soft, including doing the doggy scratch. He also kept waking himself up all night from all the crinkling sounds his body was making. I finally gave in and tucked him into bed (my bed, his blankie) instead of hanging out on the couch.
That booger had been spending most of his time as an extra appendage to the couch
I'll try to get new pics tonight, if he'll come out to play
Hi Gina, poor Pookie, such a big shed going on, no wonder he's miserable. I loved all the pics, too bad Buddy's hiding. Digi sure looks comfy in her viv, no wonder whe wanted to get back in. So are you going to make a ladder for her, too? She looks wonderful, which is great to see!
If I did, the only one who would be using it would be Pookie -- to get into HER viv
I wasn't able to get any pics of my whacky couch dweller last night. He was so wedged in that even my tugging on his tail and foot didn't phase him
