Brandy - Oh god, no! I have no intentions on breeding them. With my infatuation with itty bitty wittle poopers, I'll never be able to let any of them go. I'll be up to my earlobes in poopers! :roll:

Dawn - I sure hope so. My ultimate goal is to be able to leave them alone without the nagging fear of coming home to injuries or babies. When there's a will, there's a way! :mrgreen:

Sandi - She sure has! I need to get a new weight/length today, after a poop. It'd been over a week since her last one.


Unfortunately, there aren't any new pics of Buddy. He'd been driving me nuts these past few days by not wanting to stay in the water for more than 5 minutes . I have no idea what his problem is, but I'm getting tired of trying to reason with him (yeah yeah yeah, I know, I'm nuts for even thinking about reasoning with a turtle) or yelling at him for not listening (again, I know, I'm nuts).


I just spent the last 15 minutes looking for these pics of Zim in this thread; as it turns out, I never posted them

Just so you know, Gina. We would never leave our girls out of their viv's alone together as, most of the time they are fine together but once in a while Rosie Zoom get's in a snit or something and tries to attack Goldie Speedy. This hasn't happened in a while but because of that I'd never house them together. We can, however, leave them in the bed (post 3:30 or 4:00pm) together because they don't do much at that time but sleep.

Great pics Gina. Love the bookends and the peeking that Pookie was doing. :lol: Digi sure has a beautiful mouth and throat, how on earth did you get her to open up for you like that?

I'm actually surprised at how well Pookie & Digi get along and that they're able to fall asleep right alongside each other like that safely. I don't think they would fight but I don't think they realize that they're supposed to be house siblings so I'm afraid that "the deed" could happen very quickly. Beardies can be pretty sneaky when they want to as we all know.

Zim is absolutely beautiful, could tell that it was a hard choice as to which bone should be chomped on. :lol:

Love the pics Gina! I especially like the one when they are holding hands on your shirt.That is just too adorable Zim is stunning. I imagine he gets away with murder with those gorgeous eyes. He looks equally as spoiled as the rest of your babies.Sorry to hear Buddy is giving you a hard time.Why doesn't he want to stay in the water? Somebody needs to remind him that he is a turtle :wink:

Well, today I concluded that Pookie only black beards Digi when she's in her viv. He'd still headbob and foot stomp, but he hadn't been black bearding when they're out and about. He even let her run around on top of the couch tonight, and received a surprise kiss too (I nearly had a heart attack when she unexpectedly lunged forward and kissed him).

Omg,that is just too cute!!! My heart is melting over here.I can't get enough of seeing those 2 cuddle on mommy,what a nice family moment

Love all the pics, Zim is gorgeous, and all the pics of Pookie and Digi are precious, but makes me say only one thing...............(SOMEONE'S GOING TO HAVE BABIES IF MOMMY LEAVES THEM ALONE TOGETHER.) :roll: They're already at the kissing stage. :laughing6:

Don't worry everyone, I probably will never leave them alone unsupervised. Even from those together pics, I was always right there with one hand within a quick reach/grab distance, and constantly ensuring Pookie that it was ok for Digi to be there.
I have many goals and dreams, but that doesn't mean they all get accomplished.

First I want to thank you Gina for txting me the pic's the other day. You have no idea what perfect timing that was...I really was needing my friends here. Thanks!

Now for all the wonderful pic's...I love them I especially like the who's copying who pic that's to cute. I wish I could do that but the only beardies in my house that can be out together are breeding pairs or Z&W of course. My girls are even meaner than the boys and would definately injure one another...mean girls. Hard to believe that several years ago they were housed together(kicks self) and seemed to get along...sure not the case now. :shock:

Oh btw my son Richard said he'd trade you a beardie for Zim. :lol: Just kidding but he sure is one gorgeous puppy. :love5:

Sara - HA! Close but no cigar! I always cut off my face on purpose.
Michele - If you thought the visual of me reasoning with a turtle was funny, you should've heard it. Talk about white-padded-room-straight-jacket funny :laughhard:. Something good did come out of it all though--he sulked for the entire day because I wouldn't let him out.
Vicky - Yeah, I can't say no to or stay mad at those beautiful blue eyes. He wins every time. :wink:
Diane - I couldn't believe how long they held hands either. But shortly after taking those pics, Pookie decided enough was enough and moved his hand, but still stayed on me.
Christine - Not "they", only Digi is at the kissing stage. Pookie has yet to give Digi a kiss but had received many kisses from her.
