IT'S A MIRACLE!

At 5:40pm this afternoon, my neighbor called to ecstatically tell me that she saw lights turn on in her house and mine!
Of course, now the hard part begins -- clean out the stinky fridge and box freezer

Hope this is a permanent fix and not a mere band-aid.

YA-HOO! We sure take a LOT for granted, don't we Gina? Unfortunately, you are gonna have your work cut out for you this weekend, cleaning things out, warming things up, hope your furnace heats things up quickly. Then it's gonna be time to get all your babies back home. Sorry this has been such an ordeal for you. IT BETTER be permanent.

Our county sent 4 local fire companies to your area yesterday for 72 hr shifts for each of them. Hopefully they had something to do with your cleanup so that you could get your electricity back on. Would make me feel better knowing that it did help.

If, after moving everyone/thing back home, the power goes out for even 10 minutes, you guys will definitely see my psychotic face on the 6 o'clock news and front page of every newspaper.

Want to hear something funny? My parents told me to not move everyone (myself included) home just yet, that I should still stay here until after the weekend, until the entire house had been cleaned and aired out. :silent:

It's gonna take some doing to get it all cleaned up and gonna take a while for everything to dry out & warm up. Not gonna be an easy task. Bet Zim will be the first one wanting to leave & the 1st to run into his house. :lol:

Introducing . . . Gianna, Digi and Pookie's daughter! I had brought her home on Sunday, 10/28, the day before the big bad storm touched down on the east coast.

(I had her out for some snuggle time but had to put her down to make a nature call run, and when I came back, she was already hunkered down and sleeping -- both Pookie and Digi are underneath the blankie, fast asleep, of course)

Gina, you sneak! :silent: You didn't even let on to us and after you got all settled in again, I was gonna ask you if you were gonna end up getting one of their babies! I am SO happy for you and little Gianna. Absolutely LOVE the name, she is so adorable and so full of color. She looks very inquisitive and very happy too, don't see any stress marks. How old is she now?

So, has she met all the other beardies yet? What do they think of her? Bet your mom & dad area gonna miss all of you.

I wasn't trying to be a sneak. Just wanted to be sure that Gianna was going to be ok before announcing her to the world.

She's very inquisitive, always looking around and plotting something in her little head
Both parents have met her, from afar. Pookie didn't react much, partly because he's used to seeing babies. Digi tried to climb the outside of Gianna's tank this morning, but neither of them black bearded nor head bobbed, so I guess that's a good thing.
