So only one, eh Gina? But you do have to spend time with each one to know which one you want to take home, so I guess packing a sleeping bag when you go over to Tom's will do the trick! And when the choice is made, tons of pics, right?

No, I needed one of these because I use the ReptiSun 10.0 UVB fluorescent bulb:

I'm going to see the babies on Sunday, and possibly picking one out (still not sure if I'll be bringing him/her home). I hope to get pics of all of them, for Diane/Josh and whoever else was interested in one of my grandbabies.

Digi and I went to 3 different pet stores and all we came home with was a digital probe thermometer and new light hood. None of them had good stuffies for her to snuggle up to. The ones that were close enough all had squeekers in them. I'll try Toys R Us or Target tomorrow.

Oh, that kind of fixture, don't know what I was thinking of. That's great that you took Digi out, yes Toys 'r us or Target would be better for stuffies. What kind of stuffy are you getting for her, 'cause I know she loves her stuffies! And you're going out to see your grandbabies next Sunday? And lots of pics...can't wait!

Oh ok, you needed the hood. Good that you found one and a digital thermometer, those are "must haves." So, you're gonna see the babies THIS Sunday? :blob5: :blob8: Bet you are very excited. You're gonna be exploding EEKS all over the place. Can't wait to see pictures.

Good that you didn't get any stuffies with squeakers, I'm sure she wouldn't have liked that at all. Hope you can find some neat things at Toys 'R Us or Target. You must have just gotten home and must be tired and anxious at the same time. How did Digi do, bet she was a good girl as always. :p :p

Not sure on what type of stuffies to get her yet. I want something that could stand upright and not tip over too easily, and the stuffing won't get all smushed in the washer/dryer. MoMo's puppy is quickly turning into Puppy the Hut (only a head popping out and legs extended).

Deb, I'll be going this Sunday, in two days :blob8: . I can't wait to see those ultra adorable bobbleheads.
And in case anyone's wondering, I'm incredibly excited to be getting another baby and at the same time totally freaking out. (Diane will attest to my freaking out) And yes, Diane, I will be in total EEK-dom. Poor Tom will have to listen to my squealing

Digi did great! Of course, we spent way too much time at PetSmart talking to all of the employees and customers. She even sat on the passenger seat all by herself (strangely enough, because she'd always sat on my chest during a car ride -- maybe MoMo told her that she should sit in her own seat).

That silly MoMo! When I turned off their lights (left them on a little longer because I fed them late), she first went to the other corner and started to scratch at the paper towel (both the ducky and her puppy were still in the dryer). When I picked her up and moved her to the alligator, she of course gave me the stink eye for moving her, but then she started to eye the cave. A few minutes later, she made her way to the cave opening and stuffed her head inside. WELL, instead of quickly going in as she'd always done, she stopped and just laid there. Now, for the past 10 minutes, she had backed herself out and been sitting up, wide awake.
Wonder how long it'll take her to move over to 'the other cave'. I still can't believe she knows the difference

MoMo never moved. Instead, she fell back to sleep with her head propped up against the outside wall of the cave.
She's so weird!

Wow, I can't believe that Digi sat on the passenger seat the whole time, what a good girl! Did you figure out a way to put the seat belt around her or hook her in somehow? Bet she had a pretty colors on while she was going shopping with mommy. :love5:

Any luck with a "stuffie"? Perhaps a child's stuffed animal would be the best, something that would handle being washed over & over to prevent the stuffing from moving to just one particular area causing all kinds of distortions, good luck with that. Poor Puppy the Hut.

Perhaps you ought to take some ear plugs to Tom so that he doesn't have to hear hours of EEKs lol. Or, perhaps he will just have you stay there in "baby beardie heaven" for hours while he attends to running chores. :silent: Well, have you been able to calm down a little and accept the fact that you will be getting a baby and that you will be able to handle it fine? You will you know! All the knowledge does come back but I'm not saying that you won't worry about the little things with the new baby, all of us still worry, goes along with having beardies of any age.

MoMo is so funny. Perhaps she was missing her ducky and puppy and was trying to make you feel guilty so she slept on the outside of the cave instead? She is really something :!:

When we first got into the car, while still in the driveway, Digi immediately climbed down from my chest and onto the passenger seat. She did the same thing after each store visit. Of course, while sitting tall, she had her creamy white belly and happy yellow colors on. And thank god I don't have leather seats because she would've went flying off.
She had only turned dark for a few minutes, while we were still in PetSmart. I think she was telling me that it was time to go (we'd been there for almost an hour already and were standing in front of the kitties who she didn't really care for); unfortunately, I told her that we were going to stop at one more store and she got a little antsy during the drive there.
Majority of my kids' stuffies came from a human's store. The ones from pet stores all have squeakers in them. I have to find ones that don't have extended arms/legs and sturdy head/body connection so the insides won't shift.

Yeah, I sure hope Tom and family didn't have much planned for tomorrow, or at least would allow me to stay until I had my fill
I'm not sure what's giving me so much anxiety. Perhaps because it'd been so long since I had an itty bitty baby, or the uncertainty that I could care for another, or that the baby truly is an itty bitty eensy weensy teeny tiny baby.

Now I'm having second thoughts on having a male first. What if Pookie opposes and hates me for it? Or worse yet, what if Digi opposes more to having another male in the household? But in the same token, what if I had a female first and Digi finds herself being a 'mom' to another girl and stresses over it to the point of illness? What if . . .

Get a male & just make sure Pookie doesn't see him, I mean it will be awhile before he's old enough to be an issue with Pookie anyway, if he sees any of your beardies he'll be armwaving like crazy anyway, making sure they know not to eat him! This way you won't have to worry about any more eggs. At least for awhile. Then you can go throught the same thing when you decide on your next baby, then the next baby, then the next baby. And don't worry, you're a great beardie mom and you'll handle your new baby just as well as you handled Pookie & Digi. They both turned out so well! So you can stop the nail biting, just enjoy your day tomorrow! And maybe you'll come home with a teeny itty bitty baby, 'cause they all took teeny when you're used to adults! Will be looking forward to hearing about your day!

Digi was sure a good girl, staying on the passenger seat like that. Did you get to pick out a stuffie for her yet? I guess a sturdy one is in order, to go through all the washing! Maybe a teddy bear this time?

You will be fine Gina. You made it through Digi and Pookie making babies, I'm sure you will make it though with all the babies you decide to bring home. Not to mention you have everyone on the forums to support you when you need it. Relax and enjoy you time with all the babies and especially all the one you bring home to your growing family.

After spending nearly 2 hours on the road (crawling traffic and getting off the wrong exit [space cadet me]), I finally made it to Tom's house and saw my grandbabies.
There'll be two sets of pics, before and after bath time, because their colors were a tad different.

(I have no idea why there are more than 18 baby pics; thought I had only taken one of each :dontknow:)

OMG Gina, beardie cuteness overload! All so sweet, amazing how different the colors are. Josh loved looking at the pictures with me and the video.

Were you able to narrow it down to just one to keep????? Is it too early to tell if they are male or female? So, did you bring a baby home tonight?

Sorry to hear that you had a slow ride there and took the wrong exit, I'm sure you had grandbabies on your mind.

Absolute baby cuteness overload. I just loved that video, especially the big jumper, he sure got the others to start moving around. The two swimmers were extra special, already swimming at such a young age! So did you pick one? I couldn't get over the different colours & patterns on each of them, no two the same in any way. So did you pick one? or two or three? how could you possibly choose from any of them? Well, I'll be interested to find out! Lucky Grandma, so many babies to enjoy! And more to come! Did Digi ever start another clutch? Will be waiting to hear the final verdict on who you're going to bring home! :D

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
