Hello,

How is your girl doing?
Well, how long has it been since she has been "attempting" to lay her eggs? She could be retaining some eggs, so it is extremely important to watch her very closely. If she is retaining eggs, she wont lay very many most likely.
I really think an x-ray should be done to see if there are more eggs that are in there but not being passed. There is a very narrow window of opportunity when you are dealing with egg bound females.
Is she hungry at all? How do her eyes look?

She was bulging her eyes last night after she stopped digging. She brought herself out of the box and basked. She ate 4 supers last night, and only 2 this morning. I will ring the vets and try and get an app.

Ok, so after a really long vets visit, there are no eggs in there and her calcium levels are perfect (1.7)! The vet said she is prob stressed out as its her first time and to give her a day or two. She is now back in her cage with a sheet over the front of the cage to give her some privacy.

Has anyone else delt with issues like this? I was shocked she only has 2 eggs!

Glad that the vet gave her a good report!
I think they usually may lay more than 2, but I dont know for sure.
