Plants to put in tank to eat

I was wondering if I can put aloe Vera in my beardies tank and leave it there. I also have mint plants and others too. Would there be any problems of her eating aloe Vera and other house plants. All these plants are home grown with no pesticides.Also can I feed her alfalfa sprouts and not the flower.

Those plants are edible so you could give it a try. The issue tends to be with the plants getting trampled in an enclosure and not able to survive.

I have aloe in my tank and Barry hasn't touched it yet. It's nice though because they can handle the heat so I don't really have issues with too much humidity.

I've heard jade and spineless cactus ...no sure the specific species...are OK to use. I'm hesitant to use the jade though because it's a slow grower :?

I look forward to hearing what other people like to use! I've been considering trying my hand at growing dandelions indoors over the winter

Ok thanks and do you put the aloe in a small pot of dirt or do you hang it.

Just aware plants transpire and will in general increase the humidity in the tank.
