I saw a thread about growing your Phoenix worms but I am curious are they going to reproduce or is this to simply atten them up? I would really like to grow them myself anyone have any luck?

The worms themselves don't breed. Actually, they are not even worms, they are larva of the black solider fly. Once the larva turn into flies they will breed with each other and lay more larva.

Not exactly the easiest to breed unless you are in certain areas of the US and other areas of the world. And you definitely don't want to be breeding them inside.

I went to Petco today because I need some worms really bad and didn't have time to order them in the mail. They had a combo pack I was looking at it had meal worms and the black solider fly larva in it. They was from back in April so I popped the top and looked at them and they had some BLACK FLIES in there!! So does anyone know where I can find out how to breed them?

Like I said, unless you live in the proper areas in the world to breed them, you won't find much success. Seeing as how you basically need to make a compost-type bin out in your backyard and fill it with your scrap food items from the house, release your flies outside. They will stick around as long as your in the right area of the world, and the food is present.

Of course that is very general, but figured that right there puts off about 90% of people. If your still up for it, I can go dig around and find an indepth guide for you. There are also guides on youtube.

Be prepared for the smell and the constant buzzing sound.

I would go crazy trying to do this in my home. I thought about outside (in the FARRRR corner of the yard) but still, not for me.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
