and no matter what there is no excuse for this poor puppy to end up on the highway like he did. i found him on hwy 41 in oshkosh and then they argued that he was destroyed by the breeder the chip in his neck desent lie. either he was dumped by the breeder or hes a zombie dog!lol

freddie we just got bacardi. we belive its a girl but she sure is a cuttie and has grown ALOT in the short time she has been with me.
midwest. i am in wi the petland that my beagle came from buys from a puppy mill southwest of appleton they are known for buying puppy mill dogs and i know a few other dogs from there who have eye problems and other genetic defects. after getting picketed constantly they closed down that location

A hate to say it but unless your the one who orders the dogs there is no proof really other than rumors and hype. I live in Mn and there are only 2 petlands here and they use only three breeders 2 located here and i think one in Wi. And one are mills. It would really be sad if some use safe breeders and some use mills i dont see how the company would have set standards and allow this crap to happen? Whatever the case im sorry that they sells puppies like that where you live Getting proper medical treatment for puppies cost ALOT of $$$$$$$

Hello,

I got my little guy Buster at Petco about 8 months ago. He's healthy and eats a ton of crickets. He hangs out with me pretty much all day long and seems happy. Having said that I've had a tough time getting him to eat greens at all. I signed your petition as I have seen these same sorts of conditions there and feel that the issue we're having is that greens were not given from the get go. I've pretty much offered greens of all sorts daily and tried many different ways of enticing him to eat them. He was my first and I've been reading endlessly since the first day I got him. I've now got a second one. I hope that this has some sort of impact with the larger pet stores Petsmart in particular. Good Luck!

I'm in!!! i hate how the pet stores take care of their herps! Even the little one here in town ticks me off! a beardie about as long as my ring finger on sand eating some red mash looking stuff that now has the sand on it because he's tracked it onto the food. Impaction no??? grrrrrrrrrrrr My husband wonders why i go back to the rep section.

My petsmart go in their new shipment
8 water dragon babies in a 20 gallon tank and 10 3 inch baby beardies all crammed into a 10 gallon tank
sad part is all the other tanks were empty so it deffinately wasnt due to space issues.

its definetly not due too space issues. they keep them all in one tank so the customers go "aw we cant seperate him from his buddy, lets get 2 so they wont be lonely" That was they get more money in cricket sales as well.

If you click the link on the first page of my petition thread it will bring you to the petition where you can sign electronically.It will at one point ask for a donation but you can disregard that part it will still accept your signature.
