Now Introducing: Zero!! PICTURES!! 9/29

Today March 29, 2013 marks the day my little home became a little more full and my heart became exponentially more happy. Today I brought home my Zero and I couldn't be happier. I love him for his colors and because he was the only one glass dancing at PetSmart, he instantly fell asleep in my hand, didn't want to be put down, but then pancaked asleep as soon as I let him go. It was love at first laugh with this baby and I'm so excited. When I put him in his viv he again didn't want to be let go. Whether boy or girl, Zero is gonna be so attached to mommy, I can already tell.

So I went to Petco today to get Zero some Supers, and of course I took a trip to the reptiles on display. This particular Petco doesn't have the worst conditions and the tanks are definitely much larger than PetSmart, but they still throw several beardies in a tank at once. Here's what I saw (don't worry, it's nothing too horrible and shocking):

First I thought this was funny:


This guy kept jumping at my hair (it's in the mohawk today) :lol:


As soon as I walked by the viv, this one walked to the front and just stood there, staring (he was also the largest in the viv)


These were two of the baby babies (probably only a few weeks old). The one up top has absolutely beautiful colors. Also, a lot of the beardie snouts are pointier than I'm used to. Zero's wasn't that pointy.


An unfortunate dog pile. Zero's size (when I got him), then itty bitty baby, then Zero's size again. The baby was soon pushed off the log all together:


So yea, there's that. In the tank I didn't see any crickets, but there was a dish of small mealworms, some of the dried veggies, and a little bit of poo on the carpet. I forgot to check the temps, but I'm sure they weren't right.

I've discovered that Zero REALLY likes Supers. If anything, I'm sure he'll learn to eat those himself because he seems so interested in them.

I love water dragons. The one at my Petco also seems to have quite the bit of personality.

At the Petco I go to as well, the one you pointed out with beautiful colors, I went to Petco today and they had a bunch of them.

Poor little baby.

It is, but (and this may sound wrong) I know Petco is planning to sell a lot of beardies next weekend because of their reptile rally and all reptiles are 1/2 off.

On a side note, how's everyone's weekend going? Mine was doing just fine until I went grocery shopping. I turn into such a zombie when it heats up that I left my purse in a shopping cart and didn't notice until I got all the way home... Luckily I still had my debit card and cell phone, but I lost my ID, a maxed out credit card, my Safeway card, health insurance card, petsmart and petco cards, a flash drive (nothing important on it luckily), and I think that's it... nothing too huge and scary, but still, I'm such an *****. Not only that, but my faith in humanity was set back about 1,000,000 points. I can only hope SOMEONE decides to bring to the address on my ID which is my parents' house, but I highly doubt that'll happen. I'm just glad I still have my bank card and cell phone, honestly. But ugh, terrible day.

Ouch that sucks. Cancel anything and report as stolen in case someone tries to use the card.

Done and done. I'm gonna go into the local DMV Monday after work. I'm prepared to spend several hours to accomplish this one simple task because the DMV is broken. :/

It's not just my DMV that sucks!? Woo! I've gone to the DMV with every ready to go and still have to wait for hours. I always have to schedule off work if I need to hit the DMV. Always. Good luck getting everything back!

Oh yea, every DMV all over the US are terrible.

Did no one bring it to the front desk at the grocery store? Sometimes someone nice will do that.

Nope, no one. I checked with the office who then checked every register. Someone now has a nice small purse and a nice small wallet, a couple gift cards, and some rewards cards for petsmart, Petco, Safeway, and Raley's. Oh and an ID, a now cancelled credit card, my health insurance card, the card that says when it's time to redo my BC in 3 years, my college ID number, and possible a couple other things I can't remember.

No huge update on Zero. I'm cleaning his viv so he's currently roaming around the house. He hasn't pooped today, but I'm hoping that the warm bath plus exercise will help him poop once he goes back in his viv. His favorite thing to do is poop right after I clean it. :roll:
