Now Introducing: Zero!! PICTURES!! 9/29

Today March 29, 2013 marks the day my little home became a little more full and my heart became exponentially more happy. Today I brought home my Zero and I couldn't be happier. I love him for his colors and because he was the only one glass dancing at PetSmart, he instantly fell asleep in my hand, didn't want to be put down, but then pancaked asleep as soon as I let him go. It was love at first laugh with this baby and I'm so excited. When I put him in his viv he again didn't want to be let go. Whether boy or girl, Zero is gonna be so attached to mommy, I can already tell.

As of yesterday (approximately), Zero is a healthy 4 months old.



His full weight (just ate): 20g
Length (tip to tail): 8.5" WOA (5" is alllll tail)

Sometimes just eying Jace I can see the huge difference in tail length to body length. Can be really cool.

No huge updates, no pics yet, but I have noticed he still keeps his left eye closed a majority of the time. It isn't swollen, crusty or pussy, so I don't think it's particularly infected, but it does seem like he doesn't enjoy keeping it open. I just had to wrestle him and basically move and flip him every which way so he would open his eyes enough to where I could get in some eye wash, so I'm just keeping my eye on him; no pun intended.

He hasn't really pooped in a day, so I'm keeping the lookout for that. I did discover some poop that had run down the side of his cave and hidden itself on the back wall, but I think that was the day before last. I'm keeping him hydrated with a bath every day, but I've also had to cut back on the amount of times I feed him. I leave food in a dish in his viv all day, but he doesn't touch it, meaning he only eats when I get home in the afternoons. I'm thinking that could be causing the smaller and more infrequent poos.

I get paid tomorrow so I'll be able to afford 1 or 2 tubs of 100 small Supers. Also, I've gotten assistance from a very generous individual, so I have ordered some Dubia. I should be able to make it through till the next paycheck as far as Zero's concerned, so that's excellent.

I'll be sure to take a couple good photos when I get home to bathe and feed him. Thanks for all your love and support guys. :love5:

I'm still monitoring his energy levels and his eyes. He did leave me a rather large poo today, which was a nice thing to see. I really think I'll see more improvement if and when I can feed him twice in a day. I may have to start taking my lunches at home again in order to get him his two meals because he is still not feeding himself. :/

Yes he is still quite little, but he's definitely growing which is awesome. He just turned 4 months so I'm hoping to see a growth spurt before he hits 6 months.
