Okay, time for an update. And more pics!
So, Nim had breakfast and pooped a hour afterwards. The poop looked less loose, but still ... Then I left for a night of worship at our church. Which was about two hours. I come home to this, a sad looking beardie on a messed up bed. I took pics that I'll share after updates. Well, seeing Nim oh so cute like that I took my baby out. He ran around for a little and once he got cold I tried to put him back into his cage. All he did was climb back up my hand and out of the cage. So I kept him. But instead of running around again, he climbs up my shirt and snuggles in my neck. :love5: Of course he knows that is the way to my heart, so I had him out for longer. Then I looked at the time and saw that dinnertime was very near. Yet here was this sleepy little beardie on my chest. But he can't miss meals, so I woke him and put him in his cage. Then I went and prepared dinner. He had the last two crickets from the can. But we may be able to get more Tuesday. That of course depends on whether PetLife has them or not. Time to pray about it, I say.
So my Nim will have to go three more meals without meat.
He also really wants live buggies.
Life sucks at times, and this is one of them. We are also running out of his collards. You have GOT to be kidding me!
Anyways, let's lighten up the mood with cute pictures.
Oh, first I have a question. I want Nim to have a basking log but they are hard to climb for him. The sanding hasn't worked that much. He shimmies up the log, LOL. So i got an idea, I have a picture of it. Would this be good for Nim to climb on?
It's basically just some nails hammered into a log. Like rungs on a ladder.
This is of course the prototype. I just want to know your opinions on it.
Thanks in advance.
Nimmy!
This is his 'sexy arm' when he is snuggling. Best pic I could get. He was on me after all. And moving him would just mess it up.
Being the arboreal lizard he is.
"Mommy left me all alone. Me sad."
That's it!
