Nim's Story - More videos and pictures.

Hi, I am the slave of six cockatiels and my new dragon Nim. I'm creating this thread to share all the cute things my little Nim does. Ive had him for eleven days now and he likes me. He warmed up to me six days after I got him. He is the smartest lizard I have ever owned. I would post pics but I'm having some trouble. I put a photo on Flickr and then do the image thing but it only flashes the pic then it disappears if anyone could help I would like that. Nim is a six inch ten gram bearded dragon. Who's favorite veggie is dandelion greens. I have an organic lawn so I get the dandelion greens from there.

LOL. I deny sickness as well. Really funny that I have to wait for the bus...like really? these kids are in high school and the bus wants someone to be
OUTSIDE with the wasps and bees and they are evil. I rather much wait by a window INSIDE LOL.

LOL, I'm glad that I don't have to wait for a bus. Another plus about home-schooling. My mom and I get into fights sometimes because she says that I am sick but i say that I''m not. When in the back of my head a little voice is saying, "you are sick and you know it" yet I still deny it. So I have to deny my lizard's sickness too right? LOL

I don't even know why I have to wait for a bus like my brother's elementary. You'd think high schoolers can just come off the bus and walk inside.

Well, I said I'd have pictures didn't I? I meant it. Here are five pictures of my Nimmy after his bath. He is warming up right now before he gets dinner.

He looks like a little gator in this one.

He is getting a nice yellow on his beard. My camera doesn't do justice. I still like the pic.

I tried to get a hand pic to compare to the others. Look at how big he's gotten! :shock:

Nah you're not rude, I never know what else to say either...trying to get Mr Old man to tilt his head and look forward with those eyes. Giving me a hard
time with that shot.

If you get the chance go to Myah's thread it's blurry but I got the shot...he cooperated and was tilting like a champ I was so happy but the camera didn't
cooperate.

I saw his head tilt. Oh my goodness, way too cute! Nim does something like that except it is to stare at the ceiling. I don't know why, I don't see anything up there.

Well, it's late, I'm frustrated, so here goes a little rant. I think I mentioned in this thread that I was going to the zoo. That's a no go. They closed a week early, I'm guessing it is because it is getting colder sooner than usual. Too cold for the animals I guess. So now I'm going to an aquarium. Anyone want a sarcastic yay? I don't like aquariums, well, I haven't been to one but I still don't think I'll like it. But mom wants to go and I guess I'll go too. But just for the little sea life petting zoo they have, LOL. I know Nim won't be happy with me being gone. I will be getting crickets though. This can seems to be going faster than usual. Probably because they pack with weight and this one has a lot of egg laden females. Those are heavier. And then just to make Nim even more angry with me I'm going to be gone all day and practically all night on Saturday. My brother will have to care for him. My plan is to make Nim's two meals and put them in separate dishes. Then write when to put the which dish in and what time. I won't be there to pick up Nim's poop out of his cage so I hope Nim will forgive me. And not punish me by getting it all over. I can't wait till he only needs one feeding a day. With the rate he's growing it'll happen soon, LOL. I think I feel better now. My rant is done. Thank you to whoever who reads this.

I dont care for aquariums either, I find them boring but thats just me. Nim is so handsome. love his colors/ posted new pics of geico and emily

Oh yeah, I saw those. LOL, I just didn't think of how to post. Both are very adorable BTW. I'm cuddling my handsome Nimmy right now. :love5: I just love the snuggles he gives me, and reptiles can't feel love. Yeah right, I have a little spiky bushel of love on my chest right now.

Eh, aquariums aren't TOO bad but I would still go for the zoo. Only reason is I can't pet all the sea creatures, I like petting animals
specially swimming ones and I can't. Least here I can't. Zoo we can pet animals. But yeah...I can agree.
