I have been reading different things and i need to know my lizzy's first clutch is hatching some sites say to keep the new babies in the incubator for 24 hours but with the vermicite being in there is that safe or should i take them out

It is perfectly safe to leave them in there and they need to stay in there a day or so. Be very careful when you do go to retrieve them. Some can be very excited to get out of there and will jump and run and surprise you!

As soon as they are separated from the sack then you can take them out. I usually wait a few hours. If they are still attached after a few hours then you need to take them out carefully and put them on a moist paper towel until it falls off and dries up. No need to wait 24 hours! Just be gentle! I have been doing this 18+ years and never had a problem.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
