He appears to be very active. He ears well and goes all over the tank. When I take him out he is calm does not seem scared. He has no problem crawling all over me. I have only had him 3 days. I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. I got the vine from the backyard. I cleaned it well with bleach water and dryied it. I here you can't use real vine you find. He loves it and I liked the way it looks in the tank. I hope I did nothing wrong. He seems fine
with it. Thanks again.
Yea, I try not to bring anything from outside in.. And I'm sure one of the more seasoned owners might chime in on this. I know babies LOVE to lick, and are pretty notorious for being messy eaters/tasting things...I currently have a large climbing stick (from pet store, so no debris or anything on it), and hammock for my baby to climb on. So I'd be careful to make sure he's not eating anything he shouldn't..
But then again, I am also new to the site. And while I've cared for bearded dragons, I've never raised one from juvie age to adult (like I am now).
Sticks etc from outside are usually fine. I just rinse them really well and then bake them in the oven on low for half an hour or so to sanitize them. That vine looks like it provides a great climbing area for him.
