My "My-my(s)" Myah found a home

Shall I wag my tail and fetch that ball? No. This will not do. I think I'll sit and bask awhile, maybe all day through. Is that yarn? A funny thing. So fuzzy soft and round. Chase it? No. I will not go. There's crickets to be found! I will not sing a pretty tune. I will not bounce and hop. And if I get too tired, it's anywhere I'll plop. But please my person, mom of mine, or my daddy dear, Remember when you're gone away, I still wait right here. I love my bath, our cuddle time, you're more then just a face. Please don't ever give me to an unfamiliar place. I need you and I'll try to show how great that I can be. Even though, you may not know, if I'm he or she. Have some faith. You'll earn my trust, I swear with all my heart. It's plain to see and clear to me, here's our fresh new start.

Well, I left the lights on in Myah's tank today. I thought that maybe she was starting to wake up a little. I was wrong :roll: No coming out to say "hi" Myah is just plain sleepy. I'll leave the lights on again tomorrow and see what happens but I'm thinking she's going to sleep all winter.

Well, I started this thread with pictures of her "Happy Tail" and now that it's 2013, I wanted to show that she's still got it! LOL! :lol:
Meal time, bath time, exploring time, Myah just has to keep her tail up!

I love her happy tail, she is such a pretty girl!

I feel your pain! Brick has been down since Nov 3rd. Sometimes he'll stay awake for the rest of the evening after his bath, but usually he just scampers back behind his hide and goes back to sleep (not IN it though, the little brat :roll.
I'm trying to think of a positive side to having a sleeping dragon, but really can't find one! Lol

Awww.. look at that beauty! Love her tail Jango has his tail up like that alot but not as much as Myah. Not sure if you'd seen Jango's new pics that are up.. stop by when you get a chance. Hope all is well with you and your family

Aw, thank you. I know babes do it quite a bit but I don't think you see it as much in all grown up dragons. I get a kick out of it every time! LOL! :lol: And your pics of Jango are lovely

Thank you. If you look close, you can see a little kink at the tip. She had this before I had her and I've always wondered if that's why she likes it up so much :wink:

There isn't! Heaven help me, there just isn't! I'd say it saves on food but that really works against me. Myah and I would sit on the sofa and share a huge salad (BD friendly) Now I don't eat my salad because I'm buddy-less Oh, crule twist of fate! My health has now suffered! Dang you brumation! *shakes fist at nothing* :laughing6:

Update:
I just got back from the city and picked up a few very tastey treats for My-my. 6 large horn worms and a moster cup of supers! (She ate 8butters yesterday, so went with something different :wink: ) Well, these horn worms were the size of my whole pinky finger, (I don't worry too much about the size of horns, as they are soft bodied and Myah is an adult) I thought "How many could she eat..?" The answer...All of them! :shock: She ate 6 horn worms and 6 supers! Her little belly looks like a balloon! :lol: Seems Lil' miss fussy wakes up just fine for the pricey bugs :roll: It was $10 in horns alone! She's in the bath now as I'm hoping she'll mess out the butters! :bleick: Maybe leaving the lights on is doing something..? I didn't even call her when I put the horns in. I just put them in a pile and before I could close the viv 2 were already in hornworm heaven!

What a girl, to eat that much while she's "brumating". Guess she'll have to be awake for awhile to digest what she ate. Maybe keeping the lights on is a good idea! Rubio hasn't had any food for over 2 months & he's gained weight while sleeping, he was 804g in September and he's 826g now! I couldn't believe my eyes! How does that happen anyway? Strange...

After Myah ate I put her in a warm bath then placed her under her basking light. My bed is right beside her viv, so I layed down to watch the little girl I haven't seen in so long. She basked for a long time, long enough to gape a little then spotted me. She walked right over and got as close to the front of the glass as she could as if to say "I see you " I swear it looks like she has a cheeky smile. So pleased from her pricey meal :laughing6:

I see how you did that Deb, "brumating" And I agree. What is that girl up to? Down and out for almost 2months now eating like she's never been asleep!? :? Then, to top it off, I fed and bathed Myah at about 2:30-3:00ish. I just got home from the city, it's 9:36pm here and she's still basking! :shock: I thought she'd be in her hide for sure! I just don't know with that girl...

That is strange. Like when they shed while asleep! :shock: I'm going to have to weigh Myah once she's more awake. (I don't have a scale but the vet clinic 2mins away lets me weigh her for free ) I'm really curious now because she sure didn't feel like she had lost any weight!
