My "My-my(s)" Myah found a home

Shall I wag my tail and fetch that ball? No. This will not do. I think I'll sit and bask awhile, maybe all day through. Is that yarn? A funny thing. So fuzzy soft and round. Chase it? No. I will not go. There's crickets to be found! I will not sing a pretty tune. I will not bounce and hop. And if I get too tired, it's anywhere I'll plop. But please my person, mom of mine, or my daddy dear, Remember when you're gone away, I still wait right here. I love my bath, our cuddle time, you're more then just a face. Please don't ever give me to an unfamiliar place. I need you and I'll try to show how great that I can be. Even though, you may not know, if I'm he or she. Have some faith. You'll earn my trust, I swear with all my heart. It's plain to see and clear to me, here's our fresh new start.

Hey! Hope all is well. Love your Elf! She's so funny! I'm sure Annie gets a kick out of her mischievous ways :lol: Sometimes I wish Nathan's elf was big enough to do things like that, but we still love him and Nathan gets a kick out of trying to find him every morning.

LOL I love the things Miss Sparkles does. This picture is priceless. Huckleberry wrapped up Dennis' laptop and table lol then gagged furby cause furby was gonna tell on him.

Guess What! I'm On Holidays! Woohoo! I haven't taken more then 2days off in a row since I started working! :shock: They can have me back Jan 7th, I'm free til then! Yes! A break! After all these years, I can FINALLY afford to take a break! Yes!

(Yes, I feel a little guilty but once every decade or so isn't that bad; is it? )

No, not bad, you're lucky, with our money issue no one can take a vacation from work...that includes my BF.
Poor guy works all the time never can take a vacation. Only time he gets one is when he asks for a week off
because of a convention.

I am very blessed. To be fair though I've worked in/still do work in the most god awful places you can imagin. Not a day goes by where I'm not covered in the blood of poultry! :bleick: Not a day goes by where my hubby isn't covered in steel dust. And he works outside in our canadian winters! :shock: Still, it pays the bills and I'm just thankful I have employment :wink:

^_^ It's great..I just end up missing my BF so him working and never getting a vacation is just getting harder
for me to relax when he's out. Did you ever see my goldfish pic? It's on page 110 if you haven't.

Where I work you either take the vacation time or if you don't you loose it you don't get paid extra for not taking a vacation. So I take the vacation time because I don't want to loose it.

It works the same for me as well. With all the holidays, and the the plant not being open on friday's it works out to me taking about 7days off. I'm entitled to 14days off but use those days when Annie has a day off of school. It all starts over again in Jan. So, this year just plain worked out well We NEED time off! I say vacation, but really I mean "Spring cleaning" in Dec! LOL! :lol:

I wouldn't blame either of you, I'd take a vacation too.
I went to SS on Tue and I got an appointment with them
Jan 14th so hopefully they say I qualify or I woke up
at 9a for nothing that day.
