You could get a lot of veggies and fruits at a farmers market. They love dandelion greens also.. As for the throat bulging mine also do that I believe it their way of clearing their food from their throat when eating bigger pieces and swallowing.. Try to grate the food in smaller pieces. Just my 2 cents..........
