My Boy Leeroy [with pics]

I'm just gonna use this to post all my awesome pictures of Leeroy just to show all the fun he/we have together and the cute things and just to watch him grow everyday =] Starting with his first bath

haha, thanks guys. There will surely be more to come. There is some green definitely starting to show on the sides of his back with the orange and white running down the middle. Just realizing i think his tail is starting to shed too, or has been starting for a few days because you can see the dark pattern of stripes running down his tail but his tail almost looks to be enveloped in dead skin. Who knows, i shall know in the coming days though

So last night I cought leeroy sleeping snug as a bug again against his hideyhole that he hasn't used at all yet and I took a picture but it's on my phone ATM so I'll get it up later, very cute stuff. Then I went out today and bought a tree for him to climb on instead of the stackable rocks but the top of the tree pretty much hits the top of the cage so it gets way too hot for him to use.

I switched the tree to the cool side and his hideyhole to the hit side and I noticed he pooped on it a little after I moved it and when I looked above that, there he was hanging onto one of my thermometers! He was jus hangin out and right when I got my camera he jumped down

Also gave him some collars greens today and he ate a little bit right when I put some in there! He was also really beastly with me feeding him today. I use tongs to put crickets into his bowl and he normally fears the tongs but today he was going batshit on them for the crickets. Ironically he only ate 20 of them though lol.

Was trying to get a good picture of his colors and he turned his head to look at me and he's like "What is that and why are you pointing it at me?"

Took out the cricket keeper full of crickets and he was giving him the death look or, "the eye" as i like to call it :lol:

Assuming the position, waiting for the deliciosa crickets

More of "the eye" when i dropped a cricket into his bowl. Luckily it wasn't moving so he didn't go after it right away so i had enough time to take a picture :mrgreen:

Sleeeeeeeeeeeep. Only time i've ever witnessed him touch it although he did use it to jump onto a thermometer, and he did poop on it today lol

Thanks! I love him to death, he's the greatest. Still working on handling him though. Sometimes he lets me scoop him up, others he heads for the hills. Thinking about building him a new home though as i hate the 29 gallon tank, it inhibits me from spoiling him xD plus you can't put any nice climbing stuff in there because it's too short.

We shall see though, going to do a rough estimate on how much it'd cost to buy everything at Lowe's tomorrow after my college orientation tomorrow.

Yeah I was building one for mine but it had to be post poned. I will start up again as soon as I get the time! You'll probably be looking at about 120 for building materials maybe more.

Lol, I know it's the greatest look ever. I love it when they tilt their head and look at it with one eye and they're just like "you dare enter my home?!?!?"

Thanks for the color compliment, just trying to figure out what's up with his tail though cause its like a pale color with differentiating shades of grey which the normal dark spots that are all over his body. I don't know if he's shedding cause its been like this for almost 2 weeks now and god knows how long it was like that before he left petsmart. I guess only time can tell

I would say shed they take awhile to start it give another week if he doesn't start the shed then I would start to be concerned. I thought the same thing I was like what the hell is wrong with my beardie! Then a few days later she begun her shed it took her a about two weeks.

Having a milky tail is strange unless durning a shed. I don't know what it could be but it might not be good so if he doesn't shed with in the next couple weeks I would take him to a vet. It may be nothing to fret over but I would double check to make sure.
