Okay cool. I think I'll get that tomorrow. I know on another thread I was talking about using liquid calcium instead so that I know he is getting what he needs since he does not eat everyday and it makes it hard to keep to a schedule. Do you have any experience with it? Or can you maybe recommend a certain brand?

I've been using liquid calcium for 3 years. I buy the Zilla Food Spray from my local pet shop, 8 oz for about $10 and give them .1 ml per 100 g of weight. I have adults, my youngest is 3 yrs old, so they get that twice per week, plus .2 liquid vit/min (I get TRex) once a week. Keeps them healthy. Riley's not a year old, so at least 3x per week to 5x per week, good thing to use if he's not eating regularly, plus you have more control over what they get. Bd.co and Tracie at www.bug-de-lite.com have flavoured liquid calcium, you don't have to give them as much as it's not got any water in it. I like the Zilla because it's got 4 different calcium types, plus some water, and they like it.

I live in Canada, so with shipping it's cheaper for me to get if from my vet. But a friend of mine got hers from Amazon and it's the same one I get from my vet. I've been using it for about 5 years on my beardies and it always works. Whenever they stop eating I start the Carnivore Care and it always gets them eating regularly again. It's great stuff and they seem to love it.

Okay so here is what I bought. The calcium says to give 3 drops a day and the vitamin says to give 2 drops for every 50g of weight 3 times a week. What does that mean? Like if I were to use a syringe instead of the dropper?

So this is how Tracie figured it out on the calcium, .1 ml per 100g of weight. So if he weighs 300 g, then he gets .3 ml in the syringe and he should get that 3-4 x/wk as he's on the edge of being a year old. I wouldn't trust the dropper, though. That's how I've been giving it to mine, .1 ml per 100g and for the min/vit, .2 ml per week once a week. It probably is in drops what they say, but it's better to control it by syringe.

So let me know how that works. That's the liquid calcium I've been using for over 3 years now. And the vit/min is fine, too.

And have you gotten around to more pics?

Okay thats what I was thinking. I feel better using the syringe than the dropper. So vitamins just once a week? I am keeping a chart of everything he does and everything I give him for this past week. Charting when he poops, when he eats, how much he eats, if they are dusted (or now when I give him calcium/vitamins), when he gets a bath, etc.

I should have more pics up by later on tonight. I have to study for finals first then I'll put them up. Thanks for asking though :) and thanks for the advice on the liquids.

Hello everyone! Riley is doing much better now. Thank you all for the advice! He is eating well and gaining weight and is more active now.

Today Riley and went outside to enjoy the nice weather and I caught him rafting grass a few times. Should I be concerned about this?

No, I wouldn't worry about grass unless it's being sprayed.

I'm so glad he's feeling better, too. That's such great news. Now for pictures.

Hey guys I know its been a few months since I last posted. Riley is doing better. His eating is periodic but he is eating when he's hungry I guess lol. He still only really eats collards as his greens/veggies. It would be helpful if you guys could post some of your dragons favorites so maybe I could try them too!

I just bought him a brand new cage about a week or two ago. It's really cool. Assembly was required for it which is great if I get my own place I can just pack it up. It's nice too because it has two doors that open in the front. I'm just having trouble getting the Temps back in the hundreds because of the screen. I never used to keep a screen lid on his old cage.

I also have some pretty big news. I got engaged on the 29th of June by my awesome boyfriend of 4 and a half years :). We have a date set of June 11th 2016. It's been a pretty busy summer with planning the wedding and I also started a job at petsmart about 4 months ago. I work in the salon as well as pet care so it's been fun. I will be graduating college with my associates finally after this semester and will probably look for a full time job after that.

I am hoping to have some new pictures up sometime today or this week. Hope you guys didn't forget me!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT? And now to plan the wedding. I'm so pleased for you!

My crew only eat collards, they won't even eat squash anymore much, when they do it seems to go right through them, so I still to collards. Leo eats baby bok choy. Did you check out www.beautifuldragons.com under Nutrition? It's a great list of all foods a dragon can possibly eat, plus flowers, too.

That sounds like a great viv that Riley has now. Can't wait to see pictures!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
