Get him out in the sun ---- this should spark his appetite --- this is going to help him get by till you get the UVB ---- incorrect surface basking temps and UVB will cause your dragon NOT to eat --- once this is all on par he should start eating again ----

Okay, so the fixture is 2 feet and the bulb is 22"? Will this help with it eating? Also, what can I do about raising the temperature?

You need to get the surface basking temp w/ a digital probe thermometer and go from there --- your using a 100 watt now correct? You need to find out what the actual temp is before doing anything---- do you have the digital probes now?

I am afraid if I get him in the sun he will run off. I've only had him for a week. I used a temp. gun to measure the basking tempurature but it read 83 degrees. I do not have digital probes.

Please get the digital probes 83 is too low -- that temp is for the cool side of the tank --- if your using a hammock for a basking decor IR guns cannot read off of hammocks --- put him in a plastic tote set him in a sunny spot for 15 minutes NO lids -- supervise him --- you will see a difference in his behavior --- hes going thru relocation stress as well so this is not helping -- once you get this all on par things will start to fall into place

I am using a rock as his basking spot. Should I try to feed him during that 15 minutes?

I'm using a repti basking spot lamp by zoomed 100w
ok I want you to get the digital probe thermometers --- those are the most accurate Pet Smart has them Zoo Med makes them - two of them one for your basking side and one for your cool side of the tank - you want these temps in the tank 95-100 this is where he would sit for basking - ambient 90's or 100 or so --- middle of your tank 90's and the cool side low 80's --- these temps are for the digestion process --- the UVB is for calcium absorption / synthesizing that calcium for his bones ---- they will not eat w/ out this being on par --- please make sure hes hydrated w/ him not eating has he been getting any water? If no please drop water on his head and see if he will lick the water off --- keep dropping till he stops or moves away --- another reason a dragon will not eat ---- for the temps get a 150 watt bulb -- watch that temp after you place it -- take one of those probes and place on the rock and watch it to see what it does --- 95-100

How old is this dragon??????????? he looks younger than 6 months old?----His body temp means nothing you want those surface basking temps 105-110 for a dragon younger than 6 months old ------ nice tub let him bask for 15 minutes or longer I dont know how hot it is there --- you do not want to over heat him

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
